Steering Committee
The Steering Committee of the Alpine Soil Partnership consists of the chair and the pillar leaders. Additionally Mr Thomas Peham (Austria) acts as a link to the Alpine Convention Soil Working Group.
Cooperation
The Alpine Soil Partnership works in close cooperation with the Soil Protection Working Group of the Alpine Convention and implements joint projects.

Finance
The Alpine Soil Partnership was established in the course of the Interreg Alpine Space project Links4Soils (2016-2020).
Since its official ending, the Chair, the Steering Committee and the Alpine Soil Partners have been taking part in the Alpine Soil Partnership activities pro bono.
The Coordination Unit of the Alpine Soil Partnership is financed in the years 2021-22 by the Austrian Ministry for Climate Action (BMK), the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Swiss Federal Office for Environment (BAFU).
